GAME BRIEF & SAFETY BRIEF- BEING PREPARED

hey all. i just wanted to mention that when a safety brief or game brief is going on, all players need to gather around and listen. safety brief not so much unless your a new player but the game brief, we need everybody that plans on playing to be AT the game brief. myself and others included sometimes fall behind getting ready and miss the game brief. (i leanred my lesson) it is important that everybody gathers around and listens to what the rules are and whats going on! players that do not will not be properly informed on what the game is and what you can and cannot do thus causing problems during games. REMEMBER-not all game info is given on the forum, some info/rules are discussed at brief.

important things to do before game are:
-Arrive early at least 30 min early to get ready.
-Friday- get your gun ready; check for problems(wiring, jamming, batteries,) make sure your gun is running properly, instead of getting to the game and finding out your gun isnt working right. this takes away your time along with the gun tech trying to help you fix your gun, to hear the game scenario/safety brief etc. and possibly ruin your chances of playing if your gun doesnt work.
-another thing to do on friday is get all your mags filled; not wined up yet, just filled. so when you get to the game all you have to do is wined them up. saves time. along with other gear- GET ORGANIZED!
-charge your batteries!
- if you need a rental or batteries make sure to contact somebody or post it on the local event that you need a battery- someone will help you im sure, but the key is to ask early. asking for a gun/battery at games, takes away the renters time and shows lack of organization.
- we need to start the games exactly when its time to.
i say these things because id like to keep this community organized, informed, sharing and helping eachother out and having efficient games with little to no confusion.
GAME BRIEFS ARE IMPORTANT! DONT MISS OUT ON THEM.

I agree, we all need to become
More strict, I'm tired of seeing guys showing up late and us having to postpone the game half an hour cause their lazy asses couldn't wake up at 8:30 in the morning

on this note, for the anniversary game, you will be given a card at the start of the game brief and will not be allowed on the field if you don't have a card. if you are late to the briefing, you will have to wait until all other late players arrive and receive a special briefing.

yup i heard it murph.! lol. that video was pretty good, but pics and cool drawings of what your talking abot will help.. i got bored watching pampers eyes move back in forth... it put me to sleep, like a bed time story..

maybe we will do a different one the day we set up the field. mostly we just wanted to give people another way to get the information they need since so many people aren't reading the briefings. we could even do this every week.

awesome vid, i vote they happen weekly. especially for the july 6th game. if these become the main way to brief, maybe we should have everyone who plans to go show that they understand the video by commenting on it on youtube and adding their forum name to the comment?

I had considered that, jake. but I don't think these will become the primary briefing method. just another option for those that don't want to read it. plus, it makes it easy to get the briefing on your phone and you can listen while you drive or do other things. it's simply a bonus way. we'll see how it works and what everyone thinks of it. the briefing threads here allow us not only to get the info across but to find out who is coming. that would be harder to do in YouTube comments. but I like your thought process. you're on the right track

Yeah whoever is hosting if they want to take their own time and do it then there is no problem at all, I think it's a cool idea, but the primary way will always be with the forums
