I have had 4 tics in my hair and on my back I had to vacuum my room because I put my gear in it and camo and now all my gear is sitting outside and Im just having problems with my parents getting mad and yelling. Back on topic my neighbor went to swan falls for a camping trip and they were infested with ticks they even had spray I am just concerned for everyone's health and I am thinking about not coming out much in the summer because of it. Is there anyway we can make sure everyone is safe and healthy because I don't want anyone sick is there any possible solutions???

midland is a tick-laden field. Boise has poison ivy. omega has serious mosquitoes. it's summer in idaho. you just need to take precautions. I had my wife pull a tick off me last night and pampers had one as well.

Turtle this is of no suprise, every summer we have ticks. You just have to tuck in your shirts, pants into boots cover your head n neck. When you get home, go to an isolated area and take off your clothing piece by piece, and check for ticks. I found 2. Never has anybody gotten sick from ticks, mostly they just crawl on you and you feel them, just grab em and kill em. Biggest concern is if you have a dog, make sure your dog doesn't get into your gear. I check my dog everyday, we have a cabin that has them too. Ticks are no reason to not come out n play. They aren't zombies. play with honor, integrity, and dont forget to watch out for bird shit  |

ok well thanks for the feed back I didn't know ticks were bad out here and I was surprised because I thought they were more in the mountains and foot hills because I go biking over in the foot hills and I get ticks also well sorry for the whole fuss

no worries turtle, you have every right to be worried. ticks carry diseases so make sure your dogs are vaccined and or keep your dog away from the area you take off your gear. every year we have this problem, wish there was a solution but you just gotta prepare for em. like i said above go to an isolated area, like a bathroom so you can have good lightning and laminate floors so you can see em. then get a lighter and have fun! play with honor, integrity, and dont forget to watch out for bird shit |

Solution, change blood type to BB+, works for me no but I always bring spray in my truck so anyone go forgets to bring their own I would be happy to share until it runs out |

What's all the hype about the ticks . It's not a problem just Wen you find em pick em off and burn them with a lighter . Drive on and embrace the suck !!! Ya they suck but at end of day do a tick check and drive on . They ain't gonna kill ya unless you have the shittiest immune system known to man . If your afraid of ticks get some bug repellent tuck your shit ( even though they always find a way in ) and Wen you get home be sure to check your taint because that is the warmest place of body .
