I had a thought. I'm not sure if anyone here has done it but I've heard of other teams that have done it in other parts of the country. I think it might be good for our community to reach out to the local law enforcement agencies and see if they would like to use airsoft in their training. Essentially, I'd like to see if there was an agency that would like to set up school shooting, hostage situation, or terrorist threat type scenarios where we play the bad guys. We would would have to seriously modify our rules for such an exercise but I think it would be good for our image with the community and law enforcement to participate in this kind of training. Any thoughts?

It would be fun but could we have on a different day and that way there would be two sets of rules for each type of game. That way we couldn't screw up there training and we can still have the fun on Saturday.

Would have to be, they probably would have to have requirements such as age 18+ and only a certain # of people allowed to play

I would think that the rules and scenarios would be entirely up to the LEOs. We would likely have to help out this time with gear but if they liked it and wanted to keep doing this even somewhat regularly they would likely buy their own equipment. There is also a possibility that we could ask CSS to sponsor the training or at least show up and help. This might also help build the community because some of em might catch the bug.

I would participate in something like that. If the security company I worked for did armed guard, I would suggest it to my boss, but we do not.
