so i was thinking to make games more interesting and try to get more cqb into our games i thought of an idea that could be a bit spendy or not, so let me know what you guys think. if we can get our hands on some plywood boards that we can cut into certain sizes to make small bunkers or even larger cqb base. i would think we would need some metal connections so we can screw the boards together ( at the 90* angels), we would need a welder who could cut them into certain sizes and somebody who can use a saw to cut out windows in the plywood and cut the plywood into certain heights. then when we go out to the field we can set them up by joining pieces together and connect them by some metal corner frame thingy... what do you guys think. it would be easy to take down and put up. we could build small 3 sided bunkers with a window(s) or connect awhole bunch of boards to together to make a cqb base like scenario. im not sure who has the skills to do these kinds of jobs, like cutting windows out of plywood or weld off pieces of metal framing, but i would pitch in to make this happen. i would also be able to put the wood and metal framing in the back of my truck and bring it to games that we could use em for. i would just neeed help by the community to put up and take down the props. anybody interested in this idea? i think once it gets warmer and we could save sum money we could start building these props. this is just something i thought of so let meknow your opinions and how much work you guys think it might take to get these boards in the right size and welding the metal frames. or im not sure how you can connect the plywood boards together so if you have a better idea of how to connect the plywood boards at 90* angels let it be known.

At homedepo they have 90 * angels that will work to hold them together so the only thing you would have to do is cut the plywood to the size you won't it to be or you could use hinges for it would fold up to move it

good idea, but i want it to be able to be put up easy and take down easy, pretty much bring screws and a drill for easy building and takedowns, i dont want the props to be permanent so we cant take them apart cause then they wont all fit in the back of my truck..

With the hinges we can pull the pines out for tack down so the only thing we will need is to pack them and put them where we won't Plus with hinges we can set them up at different angels The hinges that I'm talking about are the house hinges And the converters from homedepo you would just need to screw them on

copy that that sounds good cause then we can position the plywood at angles we want.. good idea on the hinges, we could just pull the pin out and bam they wood be separated and ready to be brought back to the car... but i gotta call around to see how much a 4'x8' plywood board would cost..
also let me know if anybody has connections for discounts on plywood or other stuff we could use.
also let me know what players are good with cutting the plywood into the sizes we need and the hardware(saw) to cut out windows.

For cheaper plywood 4x8 sheet can be 7$ thats what im looking into i dont wanna lug around 3inch thick plywood boards.. im thinking more like 1/2" thick 4'x8' foot plywood boards. and get some hinges so we can screw them together and make bunkers. for instance have two 8' long boards on the side and in front have the 8' standing up so we could pop a window in it and can shoot out of. and we could add on to them just by screwing hinges on the boards.. we could make sum awesome makeshift bunkers...

U can make a square with pvc. U cover the square in plastic its a wall. U put the walls together u have a room. 10 foot section of 1 inch pvc its 3.22 @ home depot. So u can make a 10 ft long wall. 5 feet high for 10 dollars. Not including the price of plastic. That is cheap as well.

It's just like the cqb village we make at Emmett occasionally, the difference is that you use PVC to keep the walls up instead of tents.

i will be buying these items shortly, probably in the next month. scenarios that can incorproate these props would be alot of fun. and even small make shift cover (plywood) so that the attacking enemy can get close and have a chance to take down the bunker. i know home depot has cammo tarps that can be used as gooses idea and im gonna check out and seee how much 9 pieces of plywood would cost. somebody with a skill saw (casinova) will have to makeshift some windows and ill buy some hinges so they can fold and be stored. play with honor, integrity, and dont forget to watch out for bird shit
