Argument for eye protection. Saturday, some buddies and I decided to go a play a small game by ourselves. It was pretty laid back and casual. It was cold so my glasses kept fogging up. In between games I needed to do some work on my gun and put my glasses on my head so I could see. There were only four of us and we were all standing right there so I didn't think twice about doing it. Here's the kicker, I forgot to put them back on. The next game was an all against all king of the hill kind of game. I had the hill and the rule was that only the person that had the hill could use auto, otherwise it was semi only. I'm having a good old time holding the hill until I get hit right in the eyeball. After some profanity I opened my eye to a big black spot surrounded by nothing but white.
Long story short. I went to the ER Saturday. Went to the doctor Sunday, today, and have another appointment tomorrow. I will then be meeting with her several more times over the next few weeks. My pupil isn't centered anymore, my iris is screwy looking, and I have to take two weeks off of work. I can't bend over more than 45 degrees and can't lift anything heavier than 5 lbs. Basically she said that I have to do anything I can to not increase blood-flow to my head, which clearly isn't a problem. If I do I could do additional damage to my eye. Now think about all the things you do that would do that... sneezing, coughing, laughing, laying flat, pooping, and for some of you older folks... peeing. I have to sleep sitting up in a recliner and am basically bored out of my skull after only 3 days. Oh, and I might have a torn retina. Luckily my doctor is attractive.

last game an unaffilaite had his eye protection off... during gameplay, told him to get that on and he said "ya i know" say that again when a bb hits your eye bud! anyway we didnt have a safety brief that game and some late players came into the game late and just jumped right in, i should of taken them out and gone over the rules and stuff... dont like seeing or hearing bout this stuff. dangerous.

Same thing happen to me Birdman, a player had his eye wear off and I told him to go to spawn and he said no and kept screwing around with his goggles on the field wile they were off his face. Maybe we need to have a safety brief every game and make it mandatory. Noone wants to accidentally shoot someone's eye out, don't be selfish people, if your eye wear fogs up or malfunctions, GET OFF THE FIELD !

Can anyone recommend a non poly-carb safety goggles that work? I've seen something like a thin aluminum sheet/plate thingy on a mask with a ton of holes drilled in it as a way to see through it. Does that provide good vision? I'm getting tired of my goggles fogging up . Does anyone know of any good anti-fog spray?

Does anyone know of any good anti-fog spray? you can buy anti fogging goggles but they do ok for the most part but still my glasses(anti fog type) still fog up all the time because of the condenstion from my forehead. the ones your talking about are called MESH GOGGLES or mesh facemask. they have a bunch of holes in them. Bullfrog custom makes them if you wanna talk with him about em. the vision is ok during the day but in the shadows/night they are useless cause you cant see anything thru them. they do have anti fog spray you can buy at walmart or some other places. not sure tho

Mesh goggles, 1$ on amazon. I have had mine for almost a year, Good vision, no fog ever. Takes your eyes a few minutes to adjust. But other than that they are perfect for game play
