Just put in my new barrel just need a chrono to see what the . dos any one have one they can bring this weekend to the next game.
If I up grade the spring, will I need to upgrade the motor.

Well it depends on the spring if you go higher than 120 most likely you will have to because jg is one of the lower end guns. And you will have to get at least a 9.6 to pull back the spring an 8.4 most likely wouldn't have enough power.

If you have a 120 I would keep that in your gun, just my 2 cents. It's a great fps and range an also doesn't break skin. Works well with .28's but like stranger said if you go beyond 120 you will need a better motor, but your gun will break faster if is too powerfull

Do you know what spring is in there if its a 100 then it should be shooting around 360-375

Echo1 makes pretty descent motor, g&g motors, I would o with a high torque motor just my opinion

As for motor, Get a JG blue high torque motor is actually a really good motor. it has a lot of torque, and if i can remember it can pull back an m150 or something like that on stock ratio gears. its just not all that fast, where as the JG red super torque motor is more of a balanced motor with a good ROF, and good torque. If i remember there was numerous of people who have tested the jg blue high torque motor against a system and the jg motor actually did better then the systema.

A 130 spring puts it into dmr ranges. Some can take a 130 and put it right at the edges of aeg limits

The devil and Satan motors from evike are my personal favorites. Pair that with an 11.1, a high torque pre-shimmed gear set and an m120 and you'll be in the high 400s with stupid range
