Ok. someone else will be posting the actual game details, times, etc. I've started this because Goose is a very generous man. He has a bunch of gear and stuff that he will be giving away at the game. He has decided to do this old school and have a contest for stuff.
winners of the various contests will be given a ticket to pick out what they'd like after the game. The two best prizes will be set aside and reserved for two people in the game who get voted as Player of the Game and Kill of the Game.
Here is an incomplete list of the contests we will be having. If you have an idea for one you'd like to see, post it.
IN-Game:
Kill of the Game - by vote
Player of the Game - by vote
Most kills (rifle)
Most kills (single frag)
Most kills (melee)
Biggest Noob - by vote
Pre-Game (Beginning at 9:00am)
1. Farthest Grenade Throw
2. Most Accurate Grenade Throw - 50 ft, 100 ft*
3. Pistol Tournament Winner. - two players at a time face off with a quick-draw duel. Brackets will be chosen at random based on participants.
4. Most accurate Rifle contest - various distances. 20 ft, 50 ft, 100 ft*.
5. Best movement under fire - Participants will have to move under fire across the field without getting hit. Time limit per run will be established during the event.
6. Target identification. - players will run the gauntlet and shoot at various popup targets. Best run time will win. hitting an incorrect target will result in a 10 second penalty.
7. Sniper accuracy - 100 ft, 150 ft, 200 ft*.
8. Best rendition of "I Will Survive" - Judged by Goose.
9. most accurate pistol - 30 ft, 50 ft.*
*distances may change based on community consensus.
We will need people to help set up and operate/judge these contests. If you're interested, send me a PM.
