So I found a cheap helmet at the Army/Navy Store. It's a plastic black helmet, to me it'd look weird with my gear. I was looking for advice on painting it or maybe someone can help me or something? Or should I just go straight for a helmet cover instead of taking the least expensive road?

Painting is easy man don't be scared and don't rush. Know that you'll probably make a mistake so gave a plan like sand paper lol and most definitely watch some YouTube

If I do paint it what should it he colors be? Right now it looks like a Nazi helmet from WWII (black).
