You talking about the Inokatsu I posted in my original post?
I will be once I get it from back home during X-Mas. My pride and joy AK74. Inokatsu isn't around anymore... ordered a G&P Ver. 3 gearbox for it. Its probably been 4-5 years since I used it last.

Honestly check out a D-Boys. Best bang for the buck but they need a little work. Mainly hop-up and a reshim. Aside from that not bad. The one I got had bad compression but I ordered some parts to remedy it. Look at Airsoft GI or Evike right now and you could get a REALLY good deal on one. The savings you get back from that could go towards mags, batteries and upgrades.

You looking for a smaller/compact AK Bird? www.evike.com/products/29565/I'll probably order one of these before the sales are done at Evike. Less than $100 for a AKS-74UN. I used to have this exact one built for a high ROF setup back in the day. Great gun probably put close to 80,000 rounds through it utilizing the semi-stock gearbox. Just a Systema Turbo (the best high speed motor back in the day) and a 10.8v stick battery. You could pick any of the AK74's that D-Boys produces and have alot of fun for a good price as well.

So say something like this... how much will you say to put in it in cash to make it about 400 fps with a sweet rof???

You really don't need much to get it to shoot 400 fps with a decent ROF. Biggest weak link of these Dboys are their hop-ups, shimming and compression. All pretty easy fixes. Once you are done tinkering with them they are awesome.
For instance. You could get the AKS-74UN I linked for $90 right now. A good stick Lipo/Nihm (your choice $15-25), hop-up chamber + bucking ($20-25), pack of shims ($3), maybe metal bushings ($15) and a good High Speed or High Torque motor ($35). I'd suggest MAG Midcaps (a 5 pack runs around $40-50).
So maybe a little over $200 altogether for a kickass full metal gun that performs well.
So ya that's all you'd really need. They usually shoot around 380-400 out of the box anyways. The upgrades I listed are just for better performance and reliability.
Hope that helps,
-Blink

This is my KWA M16BR with a rail kit, PEQ box, flashlight, and ACOG Internally, it is all stock with a brand new piston, and a madbull 6.03 tight bore I just got this two days ago but it's a non-blowback CO2 Sig and shoots really nice.
